When is the best season to run the Istanbul & Cappadocia Express?
April to June and September to October are ideal — mild in Istanbul and the clearest conditions for the Cappadocia sunrise balloon flights. The program runs year-round; summer is busy and warm, while winter delivers snow-dusted fairy chimneys and quieter, better-value departures for groups.
What group size does this program suit, and is there a minimum?
It is operated as a private tour, so it scales from couples and small families to full coaches. We typically confirm from around 2 pax upward, assigning additional guides and vehicles for larger groups. Tell us your expected pax and we will size the vehicle and guiding accordingly.
How much does the tour cost, and what does your net rate cover?
We quote net agency rates on application — there are no public prices, so you set your own retail margin. The rate covers both domestic flights, 3 nights in 4–5★ hotels (Istanbul on B&B, Cappadocia half board), 2 lunches, 1 dinner, the Bosphorus cruise, all listed entrance fees, private licensed guides in both regions and private transport and transfers. International flights, personal expenses, the optional balloon ride and tips are not included.
Are the domestic flights included in the rate?
Yes — both one-way domestic sectors between Istanbul and Cappadocia are included in the net rate, which is what makes the four-day pace possible. Only international flights to and from Türkiye are excluded.
Is the Cappadocia hot air balloon ride included?
No — the sunrise balloon flight is an optional excursion offered at the price on request, because availability and pricing move with the season and weather. We arrange it for your clients on request and confirm the supplement with your quote.
Can this short break be extended or combined with other regions?
Yes — the Express is a natural building block. We regularly extend it with extra Istanbul nights, or combine it with Pamukkale, Ephesus and the coast for a fuller Türkiye program. Send us the shape you need and we will tailor the itinerary and quote.
Do travellers need a visa for Türkiye?
Visa requirements depend on your clients' nationality; many travellers are visa-exempt or use the online e-Visa, while others apply in advance. We are a licensed DMC, not a visa authority, so please have your clients confirm the current rules for their passports before travel — we are happy to provide an invitation or confirmation letter for the booking.
